Let’s be clear: at OOIIO we start working on events from architecture and spatial implementation. It was our own clients, brands, promoters and organisers, who asked us to go further and help them also design the interior experience of the spaces they activated.
It made perfect sense. If we specialise in unique architecture, the interior design had to be part of the project to close each event in a coherent way, controlling routes, atmospheres, materials and user perception.
The result was immediate. We discovered a huge field of possibilities to tangibly improve the audience experience, the clarity of the message and the performance of the space during the event.
We enjoy working with concepts, materials, lighting and colour from a strategic logic, looking for precise solutions for each use and each context. When the design is worked well, the space doesn’t just look better: it works better.
