Joaquin Millan, director and founder of the Emerging Architecture Studio OOIIO explains in a TV interview the public space projects designed and executed in the Castilian city of Talavera de la Reina, recently awarded with the American Architecture Award to the best International Public Space Design.

This is undoubtedly one of the most representative works of OOIIO, due to the incorporation of handcrafted elements, such as traditional Talavera ceramics, in the design of contemporary public spaces.
This same technique has been used by the team of architects lead by Joaquin Millan in interior spaces, with very attractive results as well.
It is important to explain contemporary architecture to all the people. Good architecture, design and creativity are some of the most important weapons we have to change the world in which we live.
